Talk:Filk

Alex and I are editing simultaneously. I'd created redirects from "Filking" to "Filk", and intended to edit this page to read as follows:

Filk (n), SF-themed folk music. "A filk" is likely to be a single song, whereas "filk" is likely to refer to the art form as a whole, or to a collection of filks.
Filk (v), The act of singing or writing filk. Similarly "filker", "filking" or "filksinging".
Also Filk (adj), as in "filk songs".

but meanwhile Alex had also been editing. So ... Alex, could you have a look and decide whether we want the words on one page with redirects, or separate entities?

That definition sounds fine for Filk. I should have created a separate page instead of a redirect for Filksinging in the first place since it doesn't mean exactly the same thing. Alex
I've now rewritten Filk to incorporate the different forms of the word, together with examples of each usage. Alex
