Dead dog party

A party that takes place at a con the evening after the closing ceremony (Monday evening at an Eastercon). Often features left-over snacks and drinks from earlier parties, and videos of events from earlier on in the con or from previous cons. Since the con is already officially over by the time of the dead dog party, it is a time for those fans who haven't already set off home to relax and wind down.
